And another week has rolled on by

WHAT happened to the week? It went by so fast! Each night I would want to wake up after putting the kids to bed to update the blog (of course I slept too), but the zzzz monster beckoned.

Last Sat, we had a playdate for Jon with Mason. As usual, the tow little ones, Bradley and Jill, played in their own world. We gave Mason his belated birthday pressie, an Ironman costume. He loved it to bits. Spider Man Jon wanted and got to try the costume too. Boy, it was difficult convincing him to get out of the costume and return it. But we succeeded.

Here's photos of J&J, playing and horsing around during the week.

Here we have Jillian who decided toga is her fave fashion for now...

Her sweet smile showing her bottom two teeth

Jon's current fave pose - with mouth wide opened. Auditioning for choir, izit?

My two kids playing in the study, Jillian with Jon's school bag, and Jon with Jillian's alpha toy complete with words, sounds and music

I completed my MESSY layering for a friendship swap on Wed, but could only get to the post office on Fri. These babies are on their way to Pooi in Singapore who will help distribute them during the crop session in November.

We ended the week by attending Bradley's 2nd birthday party. We initially wanted to let Jill nap while Jon went to Sunday School, then we pick her up to go for the party. But we started everything late, so Jill only took her morning nap at 9.30am and we decided to let her stay home while we went for the party with Jon.
Where are your manners, Jonathan Wee?

Partners in crime

Jon had a blast playing with Bradley's older brother Mason. Some of their cousins were there, but they didn't really play together, more like they played with Mason and Bradley's toys.

Simon and I were so stuffed from lunch of jiao zhi, hot dogs, curly fries, bak kut teh, desserts of ice cream cake and pineapple tarts. Also had a small pastrami sandwich....yums. Very hard to find good pastrami in Miri. I am so missing the Reuben (pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese plus thousand island dressing) sandwich from Steeples Deli at Tanglin Shopping Centre and their choc milkshake made from good old local ice cream with UHT milk.

Ok, I'm off to bed now. Lala-Land beckons. Hope I'm ready to face another week!
