While our cats are in quarantine and back only on 4 July, we have a few pets at home. There's Bobby, our parents' mongrel that keeps the burglars at bay.
Then we have a stray ginger cat that stays next door but always comes over.
Think he knows we're cat lovers. He slips in whenever the door is opened and hides under the dining table until he hears our voices. We give him a little tuna, roast chicken.
But after a few minutes, mum will
carry him out. Now, mum has softened her heart & even leaves him some food outside. Hope our kitties won't be jealous of him.
We also found a rhinoceros beetle near mum's plants one day and here's a photo of it.

Simon went fishing and managed to catch a fish and a crab, on two separate occasions. We steamed the fish and it was so fresh and delicious. When are we going to eat the crab, mum?
And there's still open water fishing which has yet to be explored! 
Our cats, Tiger and Tigger, have to be quarantined for a month. It's OK considering that pets from other countries and even KL, have to stay in for 6 months! When we first visited our kitties, we only found Tiger in the room.
We are staying with Simon's parents in a modest 2-storey bungalow. It was built in 1976! What we like about our home is that we have a few fruit trees in the garden. So we get to eat pomelo, mango and longan. We had longan last week and mango last night. Yummy and sweet. We learnt that we must wrap the mangoes up when they are still young, otherwise the worms will get to them!
